"Marek, FreezePruf increases BOTH freezing avoidance(lower the freezing temp) and freeze tolerance(prevent damage when it gets cold enough to freeze) mechanisms in plant tissues.
1) has a low molecular weight "antifreeze" compound that promotes supercooling in plant tissues
2) has another high-molecular weight cryoprotectant that draws water out of cells in a non-destructive manner, further supercooling cell interiors and the spaces around cells
3) the same agent in #2 strengthens cell membranes and walls against ice crystal damage when cells get cold enough to freeze
4) an additional silicate-based cell wall strengthening agent is included
5) there is a surfactant (detergent) that allows the formulation to penetrate the cuticle around the leaf, and an antidessicant agent to seal the leaf and prevent the formulation from washing off in rain and snow.
It adds between about 3 and 10 F to the first temperature that causes damage AND the temperature that causes mortality, depending on the species of plant. For palms the effect is generally around 5 F (2.8C).
So, for palms that would be the equivalent of a HALF-Zone. Some of the high-water-content tropicals do get almost a FULL Zone of added protection.

Ja osobiście będę to stosował, uważam,że może to pomóc palmą w przetrwaniu zimy, a skoro może pomóc to dlaczego nie użyć.
Chyba warto spróbować
